Complete
Salvation
Many people
have heard the word of salvation, but only few have actually experienced the
grace it gives, and most people are just tired of seeking that same city which
the builder and architect is the LORD, for some reasons it is because of the
wrong teachings and for others they had wrong expectations, but many of them
had what I tag “incomplete salvation” because as communication is not complete
until there is a feedback, that’s how salvation is never complete until there
is a feedback or a witnessing. Appreciation is never complete until there is
proper use of that given; in the same vein salvation is not complete until
there is proper use of the benefits of salvation. How do you know if your gifts
were received in thanks? By Use! Assuming you gave someone a very expensive dress
maybe the best in town, the most expensive in town and the most expensive you
have ever bought and for years you have never seen this person wear this dress,
I’m sure you wouldn’t be happy. When you hear about Computer Appreciation, it’s
never about learning to use it; it’s about using the resources in it to produce
something fascinating and great. Same way it is with the benefits of your
salvation.
The Word “Complete” can be seen as something that
“have all the necessary or appropriate parts” or “something that is finished in its making”. When you talk about
complete salvation you are actually meaning a
salvation with all requirements meant. Of course no one can say he/she has laid
claim on all GOD’s promises or experienced the completeness of what GOD has
ever planned for his sons and that takes us to Hebrews 2:3 poses to us a big
question that “how shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation” and to
neglect is to ignore as if you didn’t hear of that particular provision made to
the public after such free provisions has been provided at such expensive cost,
if we yet remain ignorant, how can we escape? If we do not make use of the
provisions that GOD has made, if we don’t key in, accept it and embrace it, how
shall we escape if we have a form of godliness and deny the POWER? Apostle Paul
prayed for us in the scripture that we “may
be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and
depth, and height; and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge,” (Ephesians
3:18-19). To be saved, to believe and use
of the provisions of GOD’s grace. One of the things GOD frowns at highly is to
limit HIS capability in our lives (Psalms 78), and not make use of the things
HE has graciously given, giving GOD an unlimited state and trusting wholly in
HIS ability to save completely for there is only one way to everything in life
and that through JESUS CHRIST – John 14:6. Some people believe that their God
can actually heal headache, but HE alone cannot heal cancer, GOD has to heal
cancer with some drugs. Oh! JEHOVAH can do all things, for they are all
possible to us, if we only Believe (Mark
9:23)
Sacrifice
is needed for every sin and to obtain exceptional result, but not today anymore
“for by one offering he hath perfected
for ever them that are sanctified.” (Hebrews 10:14).You need neither more
ritual nor sacrifice, you just have to appropriate the provisions, but first be
completely saved.
To be saved
is not the answer you gave to the altar call, it’s not being born again, but it
is to be completely born again. To be completely saved means to born again in
introspect, in conscious of the facts of the new birth, having the records and
witnesses of the spirit and earth. Heaven have to confirm your new birth by
bearing record of it, removing the name from the book of life into that of
life, because “there are three that bear
record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are
one.” (1 John 5:7) It has to be recorded, it is the recording that brings
the assurance of salvation and brings the baptism of the HOLY SPIRIT with its
gifts. Your new birth also has to be witnessed, why? Because your will not need
the accuser of our brethren to accuse you at last, for many will be accused at
last and they will lose their salvation, because they have no witnesses on
earth that they were saved. You need to be cleared, that’s why it will be
witnessed.
1 John 5:8 “there are three that bear witness in earth,
the spirit, and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.” Their
purpose is to bear witness of our salvation. How? When you are born again,
people witnessed, the spirit of GOD that convicted you of sin (John 16:8) to
repentance bears witness, but why water?
You have to
be identified with CHRIST in both death and resurrection by baptism. By
baptism, the ordinance of the earth witnessing is made complete, immersion
signifies the dying of the new self and resurrection of the new person in
CHRIST JESUS of whom old things are passed away and after that all things have become
new (Romans 8:1). Don’t joke with it, let the absence of a flowing river not
deny you that baptism, it’s not what you do with a tap or borehole water, or in
some artificial pool, it’s in a flowing river – flows from somewhere to
somewhere because the earth is 98% water which flows. When John the Baptist was
baptizing, the Jews already had all sorts of pool but they never called it
baptism, but washing. Then of the Word,
the LORD, the reconciliation of us towards GOD and the reception of the
ministry of reconciliation (2 Corinthians 5:18) in which we receive the mission
to strengthen and save others who are lost just as we were saved.
You need
it, that’s why many repent and still go to hell; the abilities and the power of
GOD are endless. Receive the gifts of the LORD for salvation because it is a
finished work of grace, “he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed
for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by
his wounds we are healed” (Isaiah 53:5). It’s a complete work, it’s for
everyone, repent, believe in it, confess it to others, act it out by faith and
use it for your glorification, possess the indwelling of the HOLY SPIRIT so you
can be led, for it is those who are led by HIM that are actually the sons of
GOD (Romans 8:14) then you can say you are born again, saved completely, these
are the over comers, they that are born of GOD (1 John 5:4).
